What is Vietnam's traditional lottery (XSKT)? Draws, regions and prize ladder
Xổ số kiến thiết (XSKT) is Vietnam's traditional lottery, run by the provincial lottery companies under the Ministry of Finance. The name means "construction lottery": part of every ticket goes to the provincial budget for schools, hospitals and roads — which is why it has been legal since the 1960s.
Three regions, three draw times
- South (XSMN) draws at 16:15 every day, 3–4 provinces per day (e.g. Monday: Ho Chi Minh City, Đồng Tháp, Cà Mau).
- Central (XSMT) draws at 17:15, 2–3 provinces per day.
- North (XSMB) draws at 18:15, exactly one draw per day, rotating between companies: Hà Nội (Mon, Thu), Quảng Ninh (Tue), Bắc Ninh (Wed), Hải Phòng (Fri), Nam Định (Sat), Thái Bình (Sun).
Prize ladder — South and Central
Each province draws 18 numbers: the Special Prize (6 digits), 1st and 2nd (5 digits), 3rd ×2 and 4th ×7 (5 digits), 5th ×1 and 6th ×3 (4 digits), 7th (3 digits) and 8th (2 digits). Live, the prizes are announced in reverse — 8th first, Special last — which is why this site fills the table from the bottom up during a draw.
Prize ladder — North
The North draws 27 numbers on a 5-digit ticket: Special (5 digits), 1st, 2nd ×2, 3rd ×6 (5 digits), 4th ×4 and 5th ×6 (4 digits), 6th ×3 (3 digits), 7th ×4 (2 digits), plus a "Special code" (ticket series) that a Special-Prize ticket must also match.
Reading a result table
Ticket holders check from the bottom: the last 2 digits against the 8th prize, last 3 against the 7th, last 4 against the 6th and 5th, last 5 against the 4th up to 1st, and all 6 against the Special. The last-2-digit table under every province on this site lists the tail of every prize grouped by first digit — the fastest way to check.
Where tickets are legal
Only pre-printed 10,000đ tickets sold by the lottery companies' agents and sellers are legal. Any "number writing" or lô đề betting based on these results is illegal gambling. DoSoNhanh publishes results purely for checking legitimate tickets.
